Founded by drummers Jimmy Cooper (The Slips, EMI) and Danny Heifetz (Mr Bungle, Link Wray, Secret Chiefs 3), The Practice is one of Australia’s leading drum schools.

But in an industry overplayed by clichés and tacky flyers, often seen as having a complete disregard for design – The Practice set out to do things a little differently. Establishing itself with an identity that had as much impact as the instrument itself, The Practice launched its new CBD studio as a ‘rhythm consultancy’. The ‘hands on’ approach won over aspiring and professional drummers alike.

With a design system that employs rhythm as a means of expression and a hard-hitting tone of voice – The Practice uses strong visual and verbal cues to draw the crowd in.
